Did you have to get out of the chair to shoot?

You have the coolest hunting cabin ever.  I bet that it was 70 degrees in there when you opened fire and I bet that you were watching your "stories".

Pics? Congrats!
May God bless and keep you always, may your wishes all come true.
May you always do for others and let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung,
May your hands always be busy, may your feet always be swift.
May you have a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful, may your songs always be sung.
May you stay forever young.

Probably got it with his truck coming back from the beer store, or maybe Cabelas bargain basement. Or, I guess he could have looked  up, for a second, from craigslist to take..... a sip .....and the deer fell dead laughing.  ::)

Wait.  He's from away?  He's not from someplace like New Jersey or something, is he?

This conversation brings to mind the Old El Paso salsa commercials..."New York City?"

God you have a way with words! Hows the global warming doing?

Thank YOU!

Congrats on the deer and stand placement!

Global warming is continuing. co2 400 ppm now. Looks like the Gulf Stream is slowing.
Saw and read some about lobster habitat and population disappearing from southern New England  waters due to warming ocean temps along our coasts. It is already gone, south of NE. The biggest buyers of lobster on the east coast even has that in their business plan, expecting Maine lobster fisheries to decline over the next 25 years and planning on more Canadian stocks to stay in business. They get it. I think we’ll all get it where we might not like it so much.

Then there is a study about the sun cooling by 60%,  beginning around 2030, for about 10 years. We should be seeing some interesting stuff! ;) ;D

Sensitive? Define “touch hole”. My dad like to use that monicker for some folks. I know there are a few sensitive types on here. Doesn’t seem to be me, except I’m a little spleeny about banging my shins on a tow hitch.

Just to be clear: I’m from UPSTATE NY. Grew up hunting, fishing and trapping. Moved to Maine thinking to find a “real job” Thank God I didn’t keep one!

I hope I covered everybody.  @)

Meanwhile, I’m headed to the deer woods in a couple more sips of coffee. Later today, I’m getting that Tanaka prepped for sometime in late December.  :icefish:

Didn’t get to it today. Will sometime soon. Gotta get the right fuel first.

Joe don't over think this. Its just a 2 stroke. Gas and good oil. I run Amsoil Saber 100-1. Maybe 50-1 for first hour.

I’m going with not thinking on this one.

There was a note on the transmitter at a radio station I once dj’d at. In case of some unremebered specific emergency it said essentially: “Push and  hold button a until reading does b then push hold button c and d simultaneously until reading does e. If that does work, immediately call the airport. “"DO NOT THINK””  ;D (Maybe transmitter light.....)

Well, still haven’t seen a deer. Some sign, but sparse.
Found these beauties though. A nice bunch of oyster mushrooms. They will go good with the deer when I get him!
JFYI, oyster mushrooms have NO poisonous lookalikes. There a several species though.

First a clam farmer, then an oyster farmer, now a oyster mushroom farmer. Can't seem to make up your mind.  ;D  Got a nice deer to post up a buddy of mine got. Don't know any details yet, just got home. Soon.

Steve Follet, used to sell bloodworms to him. His son's name is Jason, wasn't aware of his deer. This guys name is Alton Wallace, good deer hunter. I don't know the weight yet Snopro. I'll post tomorrow when I find out.
