there is a fishing shop at the north end of the lake by a stewarts store near the bridge. can't remember the name  of the place or if he sells live minnows. there is also a shop by lake lonely on the creek. don't know if either shop is still open for business.

Welcome back to the area ... The Cossayuna General Store is open again under new management, and have some bait. There is also a new bait shop on the west side of Coss., Smileys Bait Shop. Located on the West side of the lake 1.8 miles from Quack Ups . On the Right . Just look for the signs ! Its on Aarons Way Just pass Oaks Road. ( I think these directions are coming from the south).

The "shop", Saratoga Tackle, in the Stewart's Plaza is no longer, we moved out in September 2015.

I know because I owned it with my husband. Good news (I hope) we're actually closer to you in Cambridge now. We relocated to 111 Green St in Schuylerville, corner of Rte. 29 & Green St. beside the Subway Shop. I actually popped on Ice Shanty to contact them to update the map. We have a Facebook page and website Saratogatackle.com if you need more information.
