They look great But will they cut into the ice? I painted my chisel black.   It would sink an inch an hour if left on the ice on a sunny day.  Any probls you have would b mid season on - I'm curious about whether or not you have an issue

very nice I got some Spartan tip ups  I am in the process of painting now. quick question were did you get the flags from? I seen some felt pennants I am thinking of getting for this... but also considering high vis light reflection patches for night fishing...  the pennants I am looking at are 3x6 inches and going on a frabill classic rail style tip up. painted green with the Spartan helmet and the Spartan "s" logos and says Michigan state down one side of the rail... now I just need the flags to do the job right... all the logo's were done in black ran out of white lol's  so there green and black... like a few of the Spartan  logo's ....

any how like the bruins one there a good team hope they do good this year same with the wings...

I will be using hole covers with all tip-ups.

I got black felt from Joanne's fabrics. Then I bought some light Bruins fabric and glued it to the felt.

I end out with some mini pennants I got form a local store made with msu printed on them 8 for $8... thanks for the idea though ..I would post a pic of mine but I already got a post about them in the Michigan forum under msu tip ups.. any how start of the season is coming up wish you bruins fans luck at the cup same with us...
