This sucks.  I was on LC by Dec 15th last year.  Not much ice, and I didn't catch anything, but I was on it.

I was on Lake Champlain today.

No ice to be seen, but lots of big, hungry pike. :)
May the fish be with you.

45 tomorrow -  50 Sunday.

The boat will be out again this weekend.  Sucks no ice but I won't let it stop me from fishing.

BTW -  Salmon and Lake trout are very active right now in the shallows.  Get out there!

Yup.
Laker from shore today.

Caught a bucketfull of crappies from the canoe last weekend while it was snowing.  For some reason it seems colder fishing from the canoe in 32 degree weather, than ice fishing below zero.

Dieting would be a terrible way to die.

Can't have bacon, you say? Oh please... kill me now!

The other day there was ice at the mouth of the La Platte river in Shelburne Bay. There were ducks walking on it, but I'm not a duck, and as the above indicates; I don't diet either... so I didn't try walking on it.  ;)
May the fish be with you.

Hoping that with the cooler temps lately the fall northern pike and bass fishing will heat up.
May the fish be with you.
