Just saw this today on Cabelas' website, and wondering if anyone knows what the difference is? I read through the specs and looks to be pretty much the same.

I believe its redesigned ...flatter face ..no snow/water acumulation

yup larger flatter face.   i love mey lx5.  its still the best unit on the market and i've almost used them all.  will look into these in a year or so.
