I hear ya albo. Got off work today, rain had finally stopped, clouds had lifted & the mountains were covered with snow. What a sight !! Definitely gets a guy thinking about the hardwater.

Me too!!! The winter forecast doesn't look good though:( below average moisture and above average temps. Hope they are wrong:)

Got 2 deer already and hoping for a nice big bull. The gear is already coming out for the yearly overhaul! Still not sure what new piece of equipment I'm going to get this year...probably a camera  ;D

I was ice fishing last year November 16, sigh still over a month

Stopped by Cabelas in Missoula yesterday and they were putting all of their ice fishing gear out! I think they are starting to understand how excited and crazy us icefisher folk are. I believe I fished November 23rd last year at Georgetown but that was only after that brutal cold front hit us for like 10 days.  We can only hope we are so lucky again this year.

I'm so ready for ice fishing season too!!! The In-Fisherman Ice Fishing guide arrived yesterday and I had dreams of ice fishing with my daughter all night. I can't wait for cold weather.
