me too,   Just picked up a new to me 2004 2-up Skidoo 600 snowmobile for this upcoming season.   cant want to finally not have to personally drag all my stuff out there!!!  Got another set of Indian Hills for the season too..

nope ;D  mine are ready to go too. new line and swivels ;)

I picked up a new tackle bag and some 1/10 Swedish pimples. I ordered what I thought were 2 packs of 4 Plano boxes for the bag but I goofed and only got 2 boxes. Filled them both up. But I need more boxes so I'll pick up 4 more boxes and then I just haaaaaave to get some more jigs and such to fill them up too @)

No, I have to be the one that disagrees, still way too much great open water fish still before the ice; stripers, tuna, sharks, blues, fluke and a lot more... The ice and the heating bills will be here soon enough, I am looking forward to all the great fall fishing to come!

I see your saltwater fish and raise you a six pound lmb pulled from a hole in the ice. Everyone always says they can't wait for summer and I always tell them I can't wait for the winter and cold. Summer sucks hands down to the point I don't touch fishing at all anymore. Late fall trout fishing and ice fishing let's gooooo!!!

My personal best LM through the ice is over 9 lbs... And as fun as that was, it does not come anywhere near the fun you can have on the salt... I raise you 130+ lb Bluefin Tuna on a spinning rod with a popper...

I would take that too. If I had a boat for the salt and didn't have to travel to drop in. Maybe a year or two after the kid is old enough I will look for another boat and I will change my mind again really do look forward to have an ocean worthy boat in the coming years

I'm with Allan. Still way to much soft water and Salt left to do. Not to mention The Chu for the month of November. Some big Rainbows that time of the year. The heat can go tho and when the time does come to head to the hills for early ice ( even if it is dink pickeral. lol) I'll be making the drive to the top of the mountain. well after this last heat wave its going to start cooling off.  i love the fall winter and spring, summer sucks! i need the cool weather, no bugs and great fishing!

Even though my boat is down, there is  some great shore fishing in October here on the cape.   Nothing like 20# chasing bait in the surf.
