It better not be any worse than last year, ice was nasty the first of February.

The weather has been very strange here this summer. We had hot August temps in June. 2 1/2 = 3 weeks of 90 degree temps in June.....never seen that before. Melted the snowpack that remained & the forest fires started. This past Monday I had the day off work & the high temp here at the house was 49 degrees. Poured rain most of the day & when the storm passed the mountains were covered with snow. All in all though, I would say the weather has definitely been warmer here in 2015.

I really hope it will be a weak El Nino... I didnt get out as much last season and this one I'd only be out 3 days a week... so I just hope that this winter will still bring in some NICE cold spells so we can start the season early and hopefully have enough snow/ice to not worry about the El Nino effects.
