I am envious. Not just of the fish.

Plenty of ice and no knee deep snow on top. I have not been able to get out on the ice with all the sow we generally get. Hopefully the spinal stimulator I am getting put in will help mask the pain I get from walking in the snow so I can get back to ice fishing.

nice gills look like the ones here at least the top 2 do. The beast on the bottom look looks like one I hope to land sometime soon.

Great pictures! Did you catch that rock bass in Iowa? I have fished all over IA and never caught one but I have caught tons in other states. I imagine that the Miss has them, it has everything else.

Actually I think the rock bass was caught in SD.  Old Goat i was very tempted to mount that Beast gill but I think it will have to be closer to 11 for that to happen.

I have caught many 11's one I thought was for sure was over a pound took it to the bait shop for official weight just under damn the hunt continues

It does....as with Lake Odessa - I catch quite a few there in the fall every year
