It'll be interesting to see what they come up with - size etc. I've heard they have a new thermal material that will be on all their shelters this coming season as well. New models are supposed to be out around September

If they do make a one man this year that would be a game changer for certain ...I figure it wont be long before they engineer a hub style shelter too...based on it versatility.

There is a thread about this on the IDO website. James Holst says Otter is coming out with both a one man flip over and a hub style. And they are coming out with new thermal fabric for next year also.

Why the new fabrics with Otter?  I will say that my buddies 900 shell is better than my XT 650.  The XT 650 gets hard and somewhat brittle in sub zero temps whereas the old 900 denier seems to stay more pliable.
That's some tasty iced tea.

Yes, Otter has quite a few new releases coming in 2015. They’re releasing a new “skin” material called Thermal-Tec. They will be releasing a line of hub-style houses and they will be adding a new light-weight one man called the Hideout. All flip over houses will be full thermal. So there’s lots of new things coming this winter.

It will be interesting to see how they compare to the new clam hub style shelters.  I have the Big foot XL4000t and six pack 1660 mag thermal and they are going to be tough to beat.

Not everyone has been happy with the big foots....collapsing hubs and quite a few other problems too. The otter will be a game changer for sure.

A couple friends of mine haven't liked the big foot series just because of a manufactured defect like the zipper failing and having a support pole snap. I completely agree that otter will be a game changer. They make excellent products

Clam is also coming out with an 1800 denier fabric this year. If otter gets this right straight out of the gate, with no QC issues, it will cement them at the top of the pile.

Use that up here in the real cold. You can't stay warm in the thin denier shacks. The condensation freezes on them, then they tear. Way more durable, and easier to heat with the heavier denier. All depends where you are. You might be ok with a thinner fabric where you are.
