The funny part is, when I first came on there weren't any users at all.

Raq    My son got home from Jamaica Sat. night. He did not get much play time unless you call mixing cement fun. He was working at a home for the deaf out in the country.

    Everything down there is made out of cement except the huts made out of wood pallets and tarps....  Saw a lot of large mixers set up along the high way..
Couldn't imagine doing concrete in that sun...

One of the neighbors that I have not talked to all winter was in his yard yesterday. Stopped to talk. He was pealing something bad from sun burn. He had just got back from 10 days in Jamaica. I did not know that many went there for vacation. Not my cup of tea, I will wait for summer and head for the UP.

I kind of like when it slows down here.not a bunch of repetitive questions about what flasher,auger,rod,reel,tipups are the best.i get better info on questions from the real ice diehards that stick around here all year too.im on  iceshanty no matter what season it is.

   Your like me (but much older)   ;D   I didn't think I would enjoy myself  either till about the second day and than I was looking for apartments to buy..  (great rental turn around)    @)
I talked to so many people from NY (6 families)    to Vancover...   
I hate to admit it to my wife but I had a great time.... ;D


    But than again there's nothing like being in Copper Harbor overlooking lake S on a nice hot Augustt day picking up Petoskey Stones...   ;D
