Drove past yesterday. The narrows are open and I don't know of any other public access so I could not check the ice thickness. However, there is still plenty of ice on many Adk waters and the rest of Chateaugay looked as good as they do if not better. If I had access to the main lake I would give it try, but of course using extra precaution at this time of year.
