Fished last night 25 mins north of colebrook.  16-18" of ice.  No honeycomb, no plank needed.  Gonna be at it for a while local before I head back to the daks.

Fished alittle this morning. Found 11 inches, walked right on. I wonder how this rain is going to affect it. However, I thought we were done in this part of the state last week, so who knows.

Hogsback will most likely be iced over for opening day!  How crazy is that?

Its been a great-long season and haven't been to lowaccords area yet (stay on top pal) but its been hard to leave Fairfield County and our local NewMilford spots. It looks like i will have time to add some electronics to boat before they dunk it in Cwood. Keep away from the junk ice and lets all figure out opening day but the ice gear keeps getting used.Daks has 24 stiff !!! (my spot hmmmm)

Jammer whenever you want I'm happy to go jig em!  Pretty sure I have a good shot of ice fishing hogsback for the opener if they dont mess with the water level.

Just a few pictures from yesterday. As you can see it looks like mostly white ice with some air bubbles but quite thick. Felt solid.

Especially since this is the latest season we've all seen in a while-And enjoy it while y'all can-I'm tryin' not to think about opening day while I'm goin' to be out icefishing tomorrow on April 4th!
