This forum gets lots of activity, fish finder not so much. I know everyone is busier in the warmer months but lets get some new members and posts going there. I just signed up. where else am I going to get my daily dose of soap opera type drama and bickering like we have here.

I just joined MFF last week and look forward to getting some conversations going over there. I've about had it with ice fishing and am ready to get the boat out!!

I tried MFF and its dead.

I hang here all summer, read about shanty builds and off season projects. This site remains active in the off season, just not as crazy as when we have ice.

Fewer arguments in the off-season.

I check out both sites, but not many people are interested in bullpout reports or pike shooting stories in the spring, or catfish and eel fishing in the summer

I'm on MFF but it typically is a dead zone. Maybe this thread will spike more interest. I don't make the switch until late April.

I'll be there. I don't post as much there because... I don't know... There's something about ice fishing that makes me want to talk, while open water fishing makes me want to shut up and hope that nobody finds my secret spot

Thanks for the report...I'm going to be targeting bullhead this spring. Not sure how active I'll be on the other site, not many would care for my flyrodding for suckers and bowfin reports...well maybe a couple.

i am interested and others are to that i know. since your on the lake champlain forum would appreciate some of your posts there. lmk if you post somewhere and ill pass it on to others. there are many of us on ice shanty that fish bowfin and would like to hear your posts with a fly rod.

I'm ready. Can't get the boat out of storage until the 18th but we'll make a trip to the CT river next weekend and try some below-the-dam walleye fishing from shore. Then it will be ice-out salmon and lakers and some stream fishing until turkey season starts up. Would like to hit the Lamoille for the walleye opener but tough to choose between that and calling in a roosted tom.
