50 on Thursday and 60 on Friday. Ice is going to be pretty bad

If you are fishing on Friday, I would think it would be OK.  May have trouble getting on, though.  There was 16" or so last Saturday.  Just be aware that there was open water on the north side of the point that heads toward the green can.  I'm sure that will open up fast with the rain/warmer weather.

It was totally fine on Sunday but I wouldn't do anything besides walk on. We saw two cars struggle to get through the big pile of slushy snow at the launch and someone definitely put a tire through.

Yea we went on Monday with a quad. Was good. If we do go agai it would be on foot only.

fished out there today little slow not like yesterday they were driven 4 wheelers ice is getting soft last day tomorrow for me did not look at killcare

ice it rotting from bottom up started yesterday with a six inch hole at the end it was a 8 inch hole the whites are moving constantly here one day gone the next good luck be safe im done time to go find the spring perch
i told myself id be back by 2 i guess i didnt factor in that the fish were biting

Thanks for the info, Im not looking for a ton of whites, never cought em before and got invited to go with a group from over here tomorrow. Just don't want to drive across the state to find unsafe ice.  ;)  :tipup:
