Valley Ice
« on: Mar 29, 2015, 08:15 PM »
Does anyone know the ice thickness of the matsu valley lakes? I was out Saturday it looked like about two feet still. I'm hoping to still be able to drive on the lake this coming weekend.

It was 20" this weekend. However it changed a lot from the weekend before. It's much softer. This was the last weekend we are driving on the lake. It also depends which lake you will be going to. I would recommend not driving next weekend if this weather continues. There has been a lot of wind lately that is eating up the ice. Yesterday was a little sketchy, even with 20"
