Glad to see they made it out. Be safe out there fishy! Not really the time of year for machines on the ice. I went out and saw many holes not freezing back up just the other day

we went out today in a bay with 15 inches of ice and the shore line is great right now. not going to venture in any channels for sure. had 5 flags and only caught one perch on 11 tip ups but one flag took my smelt and bent the hook so bad i had to replace it. kind of thinking it was a fin because it didnt take alot of line. your right no time for atv,s on the ice.

we just bought some crawlers tonight but not for fins for gills. we sight fished today and saw a school of big gills but no takers on the flies tipped with maggots and spikes. i am hoping the crawlers work in the morning. never catch fins on crawlers here for some reason. send me an email.

they work for freshwater drum trout and smallies but dont know about fins. my best bait for fins is cut sunnies. i dont usually have to use anything else.
