Hit the ice today with Frank ( PenguinIII ) John ( Budski ) Jim ( Lenz ) and Melissa.  Not a knock out day but wasn't a bad day. No big fish but a good mix of yellows, whites, bass, pickerel, and a crappie. Beautiful day on the ice for sure and the company topnotch  as always. Ice is getting soft and airy. Should be able to get a couple days in after work this week before its no good. I think the temps at the end of the week will do it in for this pond :( :(.

wtg jeff all I got in NH was some pickerel and a bunch of micro perch. didn't even attempt going out sun. I felt a skunk coming on. my luck is about to turn around right about the same time the chu opens.

fun day for sure. a lot of flags in the early am then it slowly died off. funny thing happened with Jeff's pickerel.  the picture shows it has a red ripped lip..that is the same pickerel he took a pic of me with the day before about 400' away. so much for fish not moving much under the ice.  i'll post my pics in another thread. edges are starting to thaw. still 14" of ice but even the black ice felt soft. we picked up about 2, it was tough to leave with such a nice day but with 1 flag every 30+ minutes, not worth it. I marked at lot of fish on the Showdown until 12:30 then nothing. place shut down totally.

looks like its up the hill to the club for brookies.
