been a great year in the southern part of the state   but  the edges are getting slushy and the trout closings are making it tough to fish down here any more  :'(      maybe going to get one more week end up north  :unsure:     
  may have to get a plank for opening day :tipup:

You're right this has been a great year on the ice. A few more days here in RI. and it might be time to head back to the Berks for some late Spring icefishing.

I think I'm all done. I put all the gear away today cleaned everything up. I'm going to call that my season. I have had a great year and met alot of fellow iceshantians. good luck to those who are still daring the ice. talk to you all next season..

One of the best years for ice around here in a while. I packed the gear away for the year today, for all you guys still fishing stay safe out there  :tipup:
