Feeling determined! (Again)
« on: Mar 28, 2015, 07:16 PM »
I've had a less than mediocre year. Caught some fish but set a record for most skunks I think. I've been skunked well over 10 times!  Heading out tomorrow targeting sm, salmon and some big white perch. I'll post live tomorrow!

id get at least a couple traps out in a line off a point. And early. Jig after, but its well worth it to drill some holes and drop bait 1 to 2 feet under.

Good luck Josh, GET SOME! Look forward to the reports.
May God bless and keep you always, may your wishes all come true.
May you always do for others and let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung,
May your hands always be busy, may your feet always be swift.
May you have a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful, may your songs always be sung.
May you stay forever young.

Good day for it Josh! Looking forward to seeing a pile. :icefish:

I’m gonna try one more time this week. Haven’t had my best year either. Hoping to stack a few crappie!

Nothing so far. A dozen flags on bottom and 1 just under the ice and I've marked nothing. Seen fish come through the ice just not on my gear!

Nope. I was gonna move every hour or so, but it's pretty cold. Windy and starting to snow so I may not move quite so much

How'd you make out yesterday? Corey said you were north-northeast of us within sight. Didn't see a lot of running.

was that you guys that my dog kept considering visiting? I would have come over but then he never would have left you alone.  Not a bad day really, one nice brown and a few smallies.  If we were on the same lake those smallies are a ton of fun and with good size?

How'd you guys make out?

5 fow almost spooled  and not moving.  I dragged in a ton of line, covered in weeds. No tugging but some weight. Figured a bunch of weeds. 10' from the hole and it pulled back!  Not a rainbow but no skunk either!!

I got 1 yellow perch out of one of your holes. Justin came up blank and Corey got half dozen bass and a pickerel
