Trying to improve the Banquet attendance for the future, just wondering "WHY" most of you can't make it??

We have a lot of Team Maine members on here....no reason why we shouldn't have 100+ at the Banquet $:-\$

Please help me figure out the problem, give me an HONEST answer................ .. Thanks, Brenda

I myself, wouldn't mind seeing cribbage or poker added(not sure if that's legal or not..LOL)

I was actually thinking of attending. However it is the same day as an archery safety course I am taking.

That was the one. I remember meeting you. It was a delicious banquet, followed by the awards, especially for kids. They were excited. By the time that was done, it was time to leave, so I was "off the hook" which was fine with me. The neatest thing was meeting so many who we only knew by a screen-name.

Working unfortunately! My one sat. of the month. Was looking forward to meeting some of the sportsmen and sportswomen on here. Maybe next year.

I'll be skiing Saturday. Driving to Auburn and back doesn't leave much time to sleep before skiing again on Sunday.

Should try and move it around a little.. do one in southern maine, then central and northern. So everyone has a chance to make it once every 3 years.
the Maine Trappers Association does this with there spring rendezvous. I've been on the site for 5 years and it's always been in southern maine..

I was thinking the same thing. Had already planned on trying to find a place North of Augusta for next years.

Lincoln snow hounds club rents out there place its big enough and they have a nice kitchen and big fire place lots of tables.

Wouldn't hurt to check into this place. Do they have a phone # or website so we could find out the cost of rental??

APJ or( someone who is in the Lincoln area) could you contact them?? Or get the contact info and I'll get in touch with them.

create fundraisers to pay for Halls and trophies and $$ to go towards door prizes etc. Also these people would have to get together or at least stay in touch with one another throughout the year ...for planning purposes and talk ideas.

I wouldn't mind seeing a pre-season gathering too. Camping trip or something, maybe down east? Clamfarmer how much room you have in your backyard? Scalloper? 44? Either that or Kevin seems to have a nice place

The third reason is this young woman. She's getting married Labor Day weekend and the bills are coming in. In my eyes she is worth every penny though. Needless to say I'm going to be living off the dollar menu for awhile. 44

I think if we have door prizes, limit it to a few nice ones and maybe some earmarked just for the kids. I go to meet people and shoot the bull. I don't want to sit around for 2 hours of drawing prizes
