Wawasee open

Just wondering if it's open or breaking up we went up to blue chip casino today and Huffman was completely ice free and pine in Laporte was half open any news welcome

Wawasee is completely ice covered but some of the bay's are opening up

As of today the ice is 80% off of Syracuse Lake. There is a small strip of ice moving around with the wind. The channel into Wawasee from Syracuse Lake is open as is the boat ramp in town.
Wawasee may take a bit longer.

Before i left the lake house this morning i checked syracuse and it looked wide open. Went past the west side of wawasee and all i could see was open water. Time for pike fishing!
