wild things bait oakland

is wild things bait still open? the places i usually get bait are closed for the season. i live in augusta. i fish messalonskee a lot so i was thinking about taking a trip up to Wild Things. i know jack traps is open year round with bait, so if need be, i'll go there, but an hour round trip for a couple little fish kinda sucks. please don't direct me to the bait shop list. been there, done that, they're closed

thanks gamefisher. where in winthrop are there shops? cobbossee bait was my go to shop but there was a big ol closed sign on the door when i pulled in about 3 weeks backs. I know of the one right off 202 but i've never seen anyone there and assumed it was closed as well.

Got bait at Cobbossee on Tuesday and he had all kinds there.

I know Cobbossee bait to be the one off 202 I drive by it everyday and got bait there last weekend and will also get bait there this weekend.  Deeper in Winthrop on off 133 you have Bakers Dozen bait as well.  No shortage in the area, but to me Cobbossee bait is the best place to get bait in the surrounding augusta area.  I even get my bait there when I go to the county and truck them all the way up.  I have great luck and results with there bait

Cobbossee bait is off 202 on little cobbossee ave. There's another on 202 further in winthrop. It's on the right if you're coming from augusta. It's near where joe jones/ the great outdoors used to be. Very well could be bakers dozen. Never stopped in. But I agree cobbossee has the best bait in the augusta area. Great people and great bait

I'm heading to the Belgrade region this weekend. Are there any bait shops in Belgrade/Augusta/Oakland? I remember there being one close to North Pond but I can't remember the name. An address would be a plus. If anyone else is in that area this weekend shoot me a PM!

Wild things was still open last Friday afternoon, and got a bait delivery while I was there. I have to believe they will still be open.

I'd swing by wild things if you're fishing any of the belgrades. It's very close in proximity to all of them. If you go to cobbossee bait, you're closer to cobbossee lake, anabessacook, maranacook, lower and upper narrows, and Jamie's pond. Where are you coming from and what are you looking to catch?
