I took a 7 yr old on Saturday, he caught a couple small bass on the jig pole and he was soooooo excited! Was great to see! We picked up all the tip ups to leave and he was still jiggin and he says " Can we go next weekend too?"
I'd say he's hooked!

I emailed this photo to the hawkeye hunting and fishing news paper Today, got a response saying it was an awesome photo and he will be in aprils issue. He's gonna flip out when he sees his pic in there. He usually gets to that paper to look at the photos before i get a chance to sit down and read it. Someone commented it should be in vermont life... Damn right; kid holdin up a fatty yellow perch wearing kincos, runnin a wooly watch cap on his head and throwin a thumbs up. That is vermont life at its finest!
