There is a small bait shop in Lake Ariel.  Don't know the name, it is in the Rt.196 and Keystone Rd. area.
Just a small place out of the guys garage, sets back off the road.

That one is closed in the winter.

I ended up getting 4-4.5" minnows at Hunters Gallery. $9 a dozen. Didn't catch a damn thing with them lol.

Cowdawg, thanks for telling me about the place in lake ariel. The owner is real friendly and said he could do custom orders for bait if I give him a week's notice.

Mike I forgot about that guy in lake Ariel.  Some one did tell me once that he will sell minnows by the the way pound if you give him a heads up.   If I can't catch any before next season I'm going to see if he could get me in a few pounds of jumbo shiners or suckers.

i gotta tell ya on the large bait i caught nothing this year, it was all on medium and small minnows, fatheads actually. tried large shiners this year at 7 dollars a dozen and caught NOTHING any of the times i used them. Kinda odd you had the same.
