This thread is ONLY for the Menu for the Banquet. All other chatter about the banquet should be directed over to the original IS Banquet thread. http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=292989.0

The IS banquet operates as a pot luck. If you don't have anything to offer up you will not be refused entry, $20 is already a hard pill to swallow, but even simple dishes like mac n' cheese are welcome and well received. In an effort to have a well rounded set and not be missing any of the critical things this will be the sign up of the menu. Mention how many in your party expect to be attending and what you will be bringing.

There is a bar with staff so all of the drinks have to be purchased there except for punch and I think coffee.

There is a kitchen available but If I remember right we only ever used the kitchen at the other banquets to warm up food. We are responsible for all the clean up. Clean up is usually accomplished by the stranglers who stay behind for 30 min after everything is given out.

Things we need are punch, coffee, plastic flatware, disposable bowls, paper plates, paper napkins, disposable cups, a few snack food dishes, main courses, and desserts. I don't remember a lack food ever being an issue at these things.

We're expecting 60 people but planing for 100.

My son and I will be there, and will bring a pot of my wife's cusk chowda.

Can we come up with a list of a few things that we will really need, this might make it easier for some who are not sure what to bring.

I will bring Buffalo Chicken dip and chip to go with it.

If any of the important things get left out I'll send out the gofer with the company card. If one of the IS vets on here wants to make a menu and list of things to bring and post it here then that would be a help.

Not sure what they already have there at the facility, so tell me what we don't need, and my wife and I will put together a list.

If we are responsible for cleaning up after, you should get that organized first, so you and your dad don't have to do it.

Let me know what you need Dylan. I can help set up if needed that day. Can you find out if they are OK with setting up a fryer outside? I was thinking of doing hot wings. I can probably order wholesale but I would need someone to pitch in. Oil and 80#s of wings would probably be $120ish. Wing prices fluctuate but last time I bought some it was $45 for 40# case.

I told jrelaxin to bring coffee, creamer, and sugar. If he's already bringing lasagna then someone can step up and bring that to go with his giant coffee pot. First one to speak up here, brings it.

Someone can make a bowl of punch no alcohol. besides the punch and coffee no other drinks can be brought in.
