We went down on Saturday and checked the water level to see if we could get the big boat in anywhere. It's lower than I've seen it in a long time. They must be expecting big snowmelt. We talked to an older guy at Wayfarers that had been out b y himself and he had only caught one and lost one. Real slow he said. We don't fish it much anymore after they started killing all the fish. We may give it a whirl once or twice just because it's the only water open and fishable right now. We used to really knock 'em this time of year in the ole days. This is when we would catch the bigger fish. I don't expect that now though.
