Awesome fish!! Congrats!!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Congrats on a true trophy. If it cost me $1,500 that would be on my wall for sure.

Appreciate all your kind responses. This fish is going to the taxidermist. There's no one local that will do it.

Anyone have someone they would recommend?

Very impressive fish, taking my wife there next weekend. If she catches anything she will be happy, something like that she would probably crap her pants.
I like to walk on water.

Wow,
That is less than 3 pounds off the Maine State Record for Muskie and weighs in just about the same size as Bill Maynards Togue he caught in Moosehead a few years back that he thought at the time may have had the potential to be the new Maine State Record for Togue, ran into issues with certified weigh stations at the time it took to get the fish weighed if I remember right.  All that aside that is a brute of a big fish, congratulations young man and a tip of my hat to you and your elders who no doubt coached you through landing it.  Fish of a lifetime!  :o

Bump
May God bless and keep you always, may your wishes all come true.
May you always do for others and let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung,
May your hands always be busy, may your feet always be swift.
May you have a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful, may your songs always be sung.
May you stay forever young.
