changed jigging rapala

i ice fished for about 4hrs today with a W2 rapala that i changed[took off belly hook/put on RED one
and tied orange thread[floss] on nose hook to look like a small egg,and on the tail hook i used the
same thread to tie a small tail, the perch were hitting it 1/2 the with out the spike got about 25??
all C/R.    little  CHANGES can make a difference

Orange glue stick in a hotmelt  gun makes eggs perfect on any hook. Look at your craft store. A pack is 2$.

I always wanted to tie a 2-3" piece of Red Yarn on my Jigging Raps to simulate blood; but never got around to it though. You could use scent on that. Dr Juice worked for me, not all day; but its good for a change up when the bite slows, not sure if its still around.
I did always use the little RED flipper that comes in the package on all my Swedish Pimples along with a larger treble hook.

That sounds like a great idea about the hot melt glue eggs too!
