Burbot in NY

My fishin' partner got one this morning about 24''.  Came on a tube jig tipped with a fathead.  24 fow.

was that on oneida? i really want to catch one. just watched a video called burbot street and they were using huge cut bait on minnows and bouncing them on the bottum, then when they felt a bump they would raise it about a foot and catch them...i want one or a bunch lol
