Was out today.

Lots of dead finger sized fish where we dropped.

Had an old timer I see often out there and he was punching holes (ended up putting us on the fish) and he saw a lot of whites and small "minnows" scattering the bottom as well.

Shack city is gone.

Saw a few smaller pike and a few decent perch. But a no go on anything of size really.

Numbers were nice to see. Hundreds of smaller perch. 6-9" range.

Ice was pretty noisey but still I felt safe to drive on today were we went on.

Good fishin'!

Was out back on Feb 20-22.  Seen some dead fish on the bottom and all other kinds of fish right under the ice. Walleye, perch, pike, whitefish and sucker fish hanging out together trying to get air. We didn't get not even a bit all weekend (Lots on Camera). Some of the locals were saying that water from lake Majeau  has slowed and that's part of what's causing it. I don't know about that though.  Hopefully it isn't to bad or else this will be a long summer for me, as this is where I spend most of my time.
