Was planning on hitting the ice early this A.M., had moved a few "responsibilities" to make it happen this week and lo and behold the State of Wyoming closes my roads! I'll chance many roads to be on ice, but running closed gates isn't one of them.
THE FOLLOWING WYOMING HIGHWAYS ARE CLOSED DUE TO WINTER CONDITIONS:
I-90 Sheridan to Buffalo
US-16 Buffalo to Ucross
WY-387 Midwest to Wright
WY-50 Gillette to Pine Tree Jct.
Also ... if you're planning travel on Interstate 25 in SE Wyoming, it is closed from Glendo to Cheyenne
