Best finger lake for perch???
« on: Feb 27, 2015, 01:23 PM »
Which finger lake is producing the best perch this season.   North end or South end preferences for each lake.  I have been fishing the south end of a few of these lakes just because I am coming up from the south, but I understand the north end of most of these lakes is different structurally.  Any preferences on lake and end to fish?   Thanks

I've fished the south end in the winter but with no ice. Is there ice this year? I should just call my family, seen how they all live out there. Lol

I think all in all, the finger lakes are structured about the same in the north and south ends - for the most part. It don't matter to me though, I've only had a few good perch days this year - on Cayuga north - and all of the other lakes don't have fish.
Anyone can be a fisherman in May...E.H.
