Good luck up there, love fishing there. Heard it's been a tough year on the ice, tons of shrimp around.

I'm headed there on Sunday. Will be the 4th year in a row. Just wondering if you managed to use any of the shrimp that came through the hole as bait? Seems like the natural forage would work better than others right now.

I'm not sure how you'd hook those shrimp; you'd need a size 22 hook. They're about the size of the midges on the Bighorn at Forth Smith.

We did try them not the ticket we were at seven different huts and with three flashers just we're not marking many fish good luck what worked best was live minnow on small pain hooks with a split shot or on a small jig head

Sounds like the perch bite has kicked in. The steady barometer has made the difference. I'll keep you all posted.
