Damariscotta access

Trying to hit the northern basin
on foot hows the parking on the west side

I didn't think there was public access on the west side. I only know of getting on from the state park on the northeast corner of the big bay. Last Saturday conditions were good for sleds, but there were some slush pockets.

a boat ramp on the west side
but I've been wrong once before

Private launches only on the west side of the big bay.  The state park is public access in the winter.  Xphelanx has the conditions right.

There is you go past Bunker hill and heading west and it's on the left.   Not sure that it's plowed but that is the state boat launch

check west side on the way
