Loon Lake in Chester

Anyone fishing this lake recently? I am going to be there in two weeks to fish a Friday.  Wondering how the ice/slush is.  Also how's the bite? I am planning on hitting the northern part up in front of the swamp.

we were supposed to fish it yesterday but coudnt make it out. ice conditions are probably the same as everywhere to much snow and drifts with lots of ice. been told the bite hasnt been that good so far.

Not really recent, but was up there a month ago, fished in the bay where the Marina is. Targeted pike and caught a bunch of small pick's. Jigged a little with a little success.

Thanks guys, anyone else been there or around there and could check the ice? I'm nervous that this thaw could be making it a mess.
