i heard a rumor that there have been decent perch being caught at mayville i was just wondering if that has affected the bluegill or crappie bite at all looking to get out there saturday any info would be appreciated

Perch tend to run smaller at the Mayville end of the  lake.  Bigger perch are caught in deeper water and there are many of those around this lake.  N.Y. State  did a nice job with Long-Point, Pendergast and Midway. The gills are still biting pretty good at Mayville if you want to sort them also.
