For any of you that followed my "2014 Wheel House build" thread, it comes to a bitter end. I removed the wheel house from the lakes region last friday. My intentions were to bring it to Newfound for the derby but got an alarming phone call from Fish and Game the prior Tuesday. My Wheel house was damaged. I found it on it's side with the two punctured tires, two broken windows, the door kicked in and two very suspicious holes in the side. needless to say, I am speechless.

If anyone knows anything, i'd appreciate the piece of mind. The only thing of value left in that wheel house was a green two piece spud- which is missing. My guess, it is what was used to put these two small holes in the side.

A plotwatcher painted white placed on a stick pointed at your shack could catch these Punks. The camera takes pictures every 5 min. day or night. Could be placed at parking lot pointed at peoples plates.

That is horrible man!!! So sorry this happened to you, doesn't make any sense. If you can reveal where this happened, it might help us all look out for these dirtbags and catch them in the act.

The wheel house was in the lakes region. I am not posting it's exact location so that I have a means of verifying any tip info.

This is very disappointing news. I have just started this year fishing for laker's and I am thinking of building a hardside for more comfort since I am hooked on laker fishing now. I have been wondering if I built too nice of a shelter if it would be stolen or vandalized. I was thinking of building a nice hardside but I should probably build a crapy looking one. Sorry to hear about yours and I hope you catch the *****s.

That sucks big time. If they catch the scumbags that did that they should smack their hands with a 20 pound sledge hammer and make them pay you for all the time and material it'll take to fix it.

Years ago my first house got hit @ Bartlett beach. They hit it with a plow, flipped it on its side and went in through the holes and cleaned it out.... Right down to the jigs hanging on the wall. I had young kids and no xtream $ .had to start all over again.. It was cheep fun w/the kids. I was pissed .. Never found out who ..I hate a crook !

there's no excuse for something like that.. there are no words to describe the vermin that did this... one can only hope that it was not another "sportsman"....then again if it was miss guided youth..it doesn't say a lot for the future of our country.. We all feel your pain.
