I should be there as well halfhooked.

Chepi - I always go there already knowing what I want to purchase and knowing what the value is. I then hustle between Vendors and always make out in the end. For example - last year I purchased a St. Croix Premier Musky rod ($180) and a Avet MXL 5.8 ($220) real. Anywhere else this would have cost me $400. At the show, with a little bit of work, I only paid $280. That's a 30% discount for two brands that I have never see on sale. I do agree with you that the seminars are worth it as well.

Picked up a bunch of fluke rigs, sea bass rigs, and a bunch of stuff to make my own leaders and such. Definitely saved a bunch of money.

Wow I actually thought this year there was a good mix of cool things to look but also some good bargains.  Did not feal like a flea market to me at all.  I don't know why but I just love the "worm bar" lady and can not pass by without buying something.  Ed I picked up some of her new crappie worms - will have to share some with you when we hook up for open water pannies this year.

I will say one thing though - I was not impressed with the captn Dave wicked tuna deal he had going on!  Like the show but not him so much.
