Low Water Clarity-where to go?
« on: Feb 24, 2015, 01:41 PM »
The ice around my home lake is still over a foot thick but with recent warm temps more water has come into the lake via run-off and the river thus making the water clarity very low, in some places on a foot or two of visibility.
When it gets like this I know of some guys that say to go deep is the best because the clarity should be better further down in the water column.  But where do the walleye go when the water is like this?  Any ideas/tips are appreciated.
Fishing is not about life or death, it is much more important than that! And all I have to say is FISH ON baby.

i have been told to look where the water is entering the lake....minnows will be there along with walleyes to eat them.
I am haunted by waters...
