herbert resevoir

Anyone been ice fishing at Herbert reservoir this year.   And if so how was it for access.  Want to try a new location with the kids before ice out.  Thanks.

Yeah theres fish in there. It was stocked with 50,000 walleye fry in 2011 and again in 2013.

south of the town of Herbert is all I know...its just a bit to far for me to drive, especially since I found out not even a week ago there is fish in it lol

so I might have lied to you..i was given the information I gave you about the reservoir being south of the town...google maps says its 5 km west of the town...im going to risk the gas and try to find it on Saturday, but if anyone has some useful info I sure would appreciate it, and in return would be more then happy to post results...thanks for any help guys, cheers

Sounds good. I tried searching for it on ifish sask app and it didnt have anything listed except reed lake so not sure. Let us know how you make out. Where abouts you coming from? If you want some good fishing in the area, there's always Dief and lac Pelletier SW of swift. Good fishing to be had in both places.
