Was there on Thursday still some open water. Did get on the ice on the north end had 2 to4" be careful if you go and spud! Had a lot of spots where spud went through in 1 stab!!!

I was on it 3 weeks ago before the warm up. Caught 75 between 2 of us. It should freeze back up has been bitter cold and supposed to stay that way. I went on a strip pit south of Terre haute Tuesday and did ok

Did anyone fish Waveland this past weekend?  Just wondering if it got thicker or if the snow messed it up even worse?

yes we catch crappies, you will catch some bluegill fishing but you will catch a lot more fishing for them. have to have a flasher to really do it right because they seem to always suspend and move a lot. I catch a lot of them 2' or so under the ice.

went out today, caught enough for a fish fry, lot's of snow and water on the ice. hate to say it but more than likely it was the last ice trip for the season.

A lake south of Terre haute I checked today had great ice (I did not fish) looked like 4" of hard ice and 4" of frozen slush with pockets of water under slush here and there. Spud would go through slush ice and hit water and then hit ice.
