tell me about pine lake

Going to be heading to pine lake in early March for a weekend.. never fished the lake and I'm wondering about access and general information.. no secret spots.. lol
Mom always  said, go out side.. I guess it stuck..

Lot's of small and I mean small perch.

Any hole you drill will come up full of fresh water shrimp.  Access at several spots by the campground or down at the end of the lake.

Never caught any pike of real size but if you have the kids out you should be able to catch a ton of tiny perch

Cool. Thanks for getting skinny on pine shotgun.. the kidlets will be tagging along so some perch will definitely keep them busy..

                Its been years since I fished Pine but if you were travelling from the north end heading towards the south, the first bay on the west side of the lake used to be pretty good for pike especially in the evenings.  Got them up to 10-12 pounds but most were smaller.  During the day the action was better around the shorelines leading into the bay and had some crazy evenings in the bay closer to dark.
