heard some are still fishing on the ice at poison creek any word on the ice

I checked Cascade ice Saturday, saw one group fishing near ramp at poison but they had to use long wood plank to get past open water on shore and onto ice.  Looked like there was one other group fishing east side directly across from Poison, and those two groups were the only people I saw on ice.  There was a good 50 feet or so of very thin ice & open water along the shore at cascade ramp on east side.

We didn't venture onto the ice, it looked too dangerous in my opinion.

Anyone know if it is boat able yet anywhere on the lake?

Based on the pictures from TT's facebook page, the fact that it got colder on the last 2 nights than it has in a while, and the fact that Payette  lake web cam at Mile High shows the edges of Payette refroze last night, I'd say that Cascade is probably not boatable.  But there may be some water on the south end and near the dam that is.  Go check it out and let us know.

tackle tom's showed open water at sugarloaf boat ramp all to way to the island not how wide of open water but it dose not look good for ice fishing  , waxing the boat and ready to go
