I did a M&G a couple years ago on Sebago and met several nice members. I would like to go again if it gets put together.

I've been trying to get up to Sebago which I have never fished or even been to before but I can't find anyone to go up with me. It's about a 3 1/2 hr ride from Claremont, NH which I have no problem doing but my 2 fishing buddies keep making excuses of no time, money for license, etc. I wouldn't mind a M & G and I could learn where to go and meet some new people. I just started fishing for Laker's (Touge) jigging and using a flasher and I'm having a ball. Wished I did this years ago. Everyone keeps asking me if I"ve ever been to Sebago and I always reply I wish....I really want to make a trip up before the season ends.

When are you thinking. If I am not plowing, I would be interested and so would the rest of our group.

Now we need to decide on a date,    I'm thinking March 7th or 14th

And also we'll need a location with plenty of parking........Either The Station or Raymond Beach (Does anyone know if they keep this plowed?)

The Station is plowed by town of Standish

Raymond Beach was only plowed due to Derby. Prior to Derby it was only partialy plowed, and any new snow probally won't be plowed unless a Good Samaritan  continues plowing .

How about the state park? I think they keep it plowed, plenty of parking, and a short walk to some ok fishing.

Should only take 3 hours tops.. I live not far from there and have made the trip to Claremont many times.

This option sounds OK to me, if there's enough ice in that area?

6 inches yesterday... sleds all over the place...fishing was good but the catching was poor....if we get 12 inches of snow it will be slush.
this was at the Park. Plowed pretty well even in the boat launch parking lot. All the crosscountry trails immaculately groomed.
2 eagles looking for a handout but couldn't oblige because I never got a bite.
