Deerfield Reservoir

Im heading to Rapid City to see a buddy thats only ice fished a few times 2-18-15.  Ive searched the area and it looks like Deerfield is probably one of the neatest areas around there.  Does anyone have a suggestion of anywhere else? Not familiar with the area and like anyone else just want to have a good time on the ice. Also dont need any tips or anything just info on other neat spots around.  Thanks Iceless in Nebraska

You will want to check with The Rooster Bait Shop in Rapid City for an ice report, as we have been very warm the last few weeks.  If you're looking for perch, I would recommend Sheridan Lake or Deerfield, but both lakes also hold good numbers of trout as well.
