simcoe trip

hello everyone.
I'm thinking about taking a trip with some of my buddies to Lucky's
on lake simcoe for a weekend. never been to simcoe before. i am hoping
you can give me some fishing reports or tips for the area.

Are you going with them for perch or lakers/whitefish? They are on cooks bay which has been producing well this year for perch. Grab some slab grabbers, jigs and buckshot spoons. Tip with minnows and have fun. The bigger fish usually hold tight to the bottom, so if you are getting a lot of smaller fish, try staying lower down.  Enjoy!

Also Buck Shot Rattle spoons with minnow head did good for us when we were there. And don't be afraid of tipping your Slabgrabber with a couple spikes that also helped us even though they say you don't need to tip them.
Fish as much as you can we're not here forever!
