There's alot of snow at Candle.  I think it wouldn't be super easy.  Maybe with chains.

Anybody know if the burbot stack up anywhere? I know a guy can get into them a bit in front of the creek but is there any sand points or something that you can really clean up? Any info would be great.

Make a photobucket account and upload your photos there, it will there give you an [IMG] link to copy into the forum and its as easy as that! If you have an apple/android phone there is a photobucket APP as well to upload right from your phone.

Nice fish, cheers!!

Any idea why there aren't any significant populations of decent size perch in Candle?

pike and walleye kill them

I find them in pike stomachs often and have had small ones trail my cast retrieve.
They just don't seem to stand a chance in the lake to reach that next size class of fish

Can anyone say if there are any heaves sledding from Hayes across to Fisher Creek?  Want to go out there in the dark early but haven't been across there this winter.  Thanks.

yes there is one just n of the creek

you can't miss it, and safe to cross over in many areas.  Just keep head up when you get towards sandy bay.

Prob easiest to cross it close to the w shoreline   good luck fishing
