So the last time I used my unit I was just using the camera and it was left in camera mode. Today I decided to leave the camera pack at home. Got out on the ice and fired up the unit while getting rods and other stuff together and returning to it there was a blank screen. Went through this a couple of times. I figured my charger had failed and the battery was dead. Switched to my back up for the day. Once home I powered it up and noticed the buttons were lit up. I hit menu and at that point I realized what the issue was. I had never put the unit back in flasher mode and the camera was not attached to the unit. This left for a blank screen and I could not see that the buttons were lit in the sunlight. It was just one of those rare situations and I thought I would pass this information on to you.
