Ok, who's hardcore enough to brave the deep snow, slush, wind chill etc.?! I am thinking of heading someplace in Lincoln or Smithfield Sunday. Probably going to bring the snowshoes or skiis!!

I am about 90% on hitting Lincoln Woods tomorrow morning. Drove by there an hour ago and nobody was out. Sign at the beach said unsafe for skating, but I think that's because of all the snow and they are unable to measure ice thickness. Does anybody have any idea if the DEM would kick me off the ice there?

That's what I thought, Fishtails. I was just surprised that not one guy was out on the ice...in the North Cove or at the beach.

Probably cause it was so cold and windy! I went out today in northern RI and was on a foot of ice! There also was a couple people on atv's out there

we fished stump next to the police station in the river 9 inchs of ice 3-4 slush and a ince of ice on top...we got a few pickerel but it was slow

Took a skunk yesterday out in the Berks but made up for it this morning at Echo Lake. Ran out of bait by 11:00 AM. Let's Go Pats !!!!

Did and up going to Lincoln Woods after all. Got set up a little before eight… Two other guys wereout there. Another pair of guys showed up within the hour. I had a couple wind flags and a few with stolen bait. Jigged up a few panfish and a nice rainbow. Toward the end I got the largemouth on one of my tilts. All in all a good morning.

Chepi I might've seen you out there today. Were you near the police station? I was set up in the north cove. Had a decent amount of flags. Caught 5 pickerel and lost a few. Not a bad day. weather was nice

By the way ice was 12-13 inches where I was. Some guy was doing donuts on his quad right near where I was set up for a while

Thanks, Ballbag. It was a decent outing; the guys on one side of me
had at least two trout and a bass. Not sure about
the other two.
